SICK AppSpace SensorApps Static Package Dimensioning

MC SICK App Space Sensor Apps Static Package Dimensioning 1 400x275

October 6, 2022

The Static Package Dimensioning SensorApp uses 3D snapshot technology to measure stationary objects. From this the SensorApp collects 3D data which it can use to determine the minimum bounding box of the object. This simplifies, for example, the measurement of goods in order to determine their storage place. SICK also provides a web-based user interface. You can use this to display the height, width and depth of the box as well as a 2D color image of the measured object. The SensorApp can be installed directly on the Visionary-S AP 3D vision sensor. No additional computer for data processing is therefore required. The 3D vision sensor makes the calculated values available to an ERP system immediately.

At a glance

  • •Determination of the minimum bounding box of each object
  • •Lean stand-alone solution – no additional computer required
  • •Easy-to-use web-based user interface
  • •2D color image
  • •Plug and play solution based on SICK AppSpace
