mGuard Secure Cloud Version 3.1 is Released from Phoenix Contact

The mGuard Secure Cloud from Phoenix Contact allows secure remote access to machines and systems worldwide. Version 3.1 is now available with immediate effect.

This version of mGuard comes with numerous new features, including China VPN+, which enables reliable and officially approved VPN connections to China. The new version also supports additional router and Cloud Client devices. Another highlight is the Asset Migration Tool, which makes it easier to migrate from version 2 to version 3. The configuration options for two-factor authentication have been extended so that administrators can customize the time span for sending PINs by email. The naming conventions for VPN configuration files have also been optimized.

The basic version of the mGuard Secure Cloud is available with two service connections and a data volume of 8 GB free of charge. Additional options can be booked on an annual basis to suit the respective service concept, such as additional service connections, China VPN+, additional traffic, and extended support.

Cloud-based remote maintenance allows technicians to connect quickly and securely to remote machines and systems. This reduces costly and time-consuming on-site service actions significantly.
