MC New Contrinex Specialty Inductive Proximity Sensors from Automation Direct 1 400x275

November 30, 2022

AutomationDirect has added new stainless-steel specialty inductive proximity sensors from Contrinex. These new proximity sensors are designed for extreme environments and are offered in 3mm to 50mm diameters with protection ratings up to IP69K.

Select models are rated for high-temperature applications up to 230°C [446°F] and high-pressure applications up to 500 bar [7251 psi]. Other models feature metal chip immunity which eliminates the risk of false switching due to metal debris. DNV-GL certified versions for maritime use are available, as well as models with IO-Link v1.1 capability.

The new Contrinex sensors are UL listed (except high-temperature models), CE marked, and RoHS compliant. These sensors come with a lifetime warranty and start at $105.00
