Zimmer Group Celebrates 40 Years of Employment by Klaus Seifried

On 15 January 1983, Günther Zimmer asked if Klaus Seifried could support him for 6 weeks, as he had received a larger order. He was thus the first employee of the Zimmer Group. Today, forty years later, Zimmer Group is proud that the constructive and open cooperation with Klaus Seifried is still an important part of the company.

Starting as a short-term temp, Klaus Seifried trained as a mechanic under his mentor Herbert Zimmer from 1985 to 1987 and became head of production and work preparation in 1990. Since 2014, he has been in charge of production and thus purchasing, manufacturing and assembly at Zimmer GmbH. Throughout his career, Klaus Seifried has been a valuable and indispensable support for the success of the Zimmer Group. He always distinguished himself through loyalty, reliability and great commitment. He thus contributed significantly to the positive development and success of the company. Over the years, he has become an integral part of the Zimmer Group’s success story and has helped shape the company’s future.

Zimmer Group Celebrates Klaus Seifried's 40 Years of Employment

On the occasion of his 40th anniversary of service, the management and colleagues met in a small circle to honour the long-standing employee. As a token of appreciation, they presented him with gifts and the honorary certificate of the state of Baden-Württemberg for long-serving employees. This certificate is awarded as thanks and recognition for 40 years of service and is further proof of Klaus Seifried’s many years of constructive work and pleasant cooperation.

Martin and Günther Zimmer paid tribute to the 40 years of service with the words: “Together with Klaus, we were able to successfully master many important milestones. He is a valuable and indispensable pillar of success and has contributed significantly to the positive development of the company.”

Zimmer Group congratulates him on this milestone and thanks him for the excellent cooperation. The company looks back with pride on his long service and the years they have spent together. This summer, Klaus Seifried will go into well-deserved retirement. However, he will remain with the Zimmer Group in an advisory capacity.
