Aztec Electrical Supply Expands Footprint in Southern Ontario

Aztec Electrical Supply Expands Footprint in Southern Ontario

Aztec is strengthening its presence in Southwestern Ontario with two major moves this June—the grand opening of its newly expanded Cambridge branch and the opening of its brand new Stoney Creek branch.

Located at 430 McNeilly Road, Aztec’s new Stoney Creek branch will specialize in automation and control solutions, serving local industrial facilities with expert support. While the branch offers the company’s full product line, this expansion marks a return to the company’s technical roots. Leading this new venture is Branch Manager James Pasierbski, who transitioned from Aztec’s Technical Sales Group to provide the foremost technical support to customers in the Stoney Creek area.

Additionally, the Cambridge branch expansion doubles warehouse capacity, enabling a broader product selection across automation, control, distribution, lighting, wire, and cable. A new full-service contractor counter now ensures a streamlined order pickup experience, reinforcing Aztec Cambridge’s long-standing role as an industrial powerhouse in the region while expanding its contractor offering.

The company’s Director or Sales and Operations Cory Upton states, “This strategic expansion marks the next chapter of Aztec’s growth. As part of Sonepar we are able to leverage our size to bring the best solutions to our customers with improved convenience while maintaining our core value of technical excellence in the support we provide customers.”

Sonepar and Aztec anticipate further expansion and support along the 401 corridor, including an upcoming expansion to their central distribution centre to provide additional support for local branches in and around the Greater Toronto Area.
