FLO confirms FLO station eligibility for ZEVIP funding

FLO confirms that all FLO commercial charging stations remain eligible for ZEVIP funding under this new federal directive

Canada recently announced trade measures impacting vehicles from China and limiting eligibility under the Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) to electric vehicle (EV) charging products manufactured in countries that have negotiated free trade agreements with Canada.

Effective October 1, 2024, this directive is expected to have an impact on ZEVIP projects with stations from China, Taiwan, India and the Philippines, which may require substitution with eligible stations.

Founded in 2009 in Quebec (Canada) and with assembly facilities in Canada and the U.S., FLO confirms that all FLO commercial charging stations – including the new FLO Ultra fast charger, the SmartDC fast charger, the CoRe+ and the SmartTWO series – all remain eligible for ZEVIP funding under this new federal directive.

FLO’s team will be happy to assist you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact media@flo.com. You can also access their latest ZEVIP webinar recording here.
