Beckhoff Wins the Industrie 4.0 Innovation Award for the MX-System

In the MX-System, Beckhoff offers a flexible, space-optimized, intelligent system solution that completely eliminates conventional control cabinets and can thus revolutionize the world of automation. This innovation has now been recognized with the Industrie 4.0 Innovation Award.

In the MX-System, Beckhoff has bundled over four decades of automation expertise into a modular system that performs all of the tasks and exhibits the properties of a classic control cabinet. The system assembly, consisting of the baseplate and modules, is waterproof and dustproof and can be mounted directly on the machine without any additional protective housing.

This innovative system won over the expert jury for the VDE Verlag’s Industrie 4.0 Innovation Award, along with the readership of etz elektrotechnik & automation and openautomation. Every year, they award prizes to the three best products that make an enriching contribution to Industry 4.0. The MX-System won first place this year.

The ceremony takes place in Frankfurt at the first ZVEI digitalization conference on December 12, where Beckhoff will be presented with the award.
