Aetina, Qualcomm, and Data Systems Team Up

Aetina, a subsidiary of the Innodisk Group and a leading provider of edge AI solutions, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a technology leader enabling connected intelligent computing, and Data Systems Co., Ltd.,a leader in enterprise digital transformation, today announced a collaboration to unveil the “Enterprise AI Assistant” at COMPUTEX 2025 (May 20–23, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre Hall 1, Booth J0118).

This groundbreaking solution seamlessly integrates Aetina’s powerful on-premise AI computing platform, Qualcomm Technologies’ industry-leading high-performance, low-power AI inference technology, and Data Systems’ deep expertise in ERP digitalization, practical AI application, and cross-system integration—enabling enterprises to accelerate data workflows, reduce operational costs, and boost productivity.

AI Agent – Driven Work Model: Accurately Boosting Document Processing Efficiency by 96%
The “Enterprise AI Assistant” developed by Data Systems is built on Aetina MegaEdge AIP-FR68 AI inference system powered by the Qualcomm® AI On-Prem Appliance – a combination of Qualcomm® Cloud AI 100 Ultra accelerator cards and the Qualcomm® AI Inference Suite, delivering up to 870 TOPS of AI performance for generative AI workloads in air-gapped environments. Leveraging multimodal LLM inference for rapid image recognition, information extraction, and form transcription.

For example, with the Enterprise AI Assistant, enterprises can simply describe their document processing needs in natural language—such as transcribing, matching, and verifying data—and the platform will automatically generate corresponding AI applications. This dramatically lowers the barriers to adoption and reduces development costs.

For instance, a manufacturing company processing 50 orders daily would traditionally spend around 150 minutes on manual entry. With the “Enterprise AI Assistant”, the same tasks can now be completed in just 5 minutes, achieving a 96% boost in operational efficiency while minimizing human error and labor costs.

By being equipped with continuous self-learning capabilities, the solution autonomously optimizes multi-version document comparisons and transcription tasks, such as tracking design changes, updating orders and managing expense voucher reimbursement and related scenarios. It also directly integrates with ERP and e-form systems automation—from data extraction to work order generation.

Combining Hardware and Software Strengths into a Ready-to-Deploy AI Platform
The showcased solution highlights the core strengths of each partner: Aetina delivers integrated edge AI computing platforms and system design expertise; Qualcomm Technologies provides power-efficient AI inference accelerators and advanced software; and Data Systems draws on its strengths in enterprise digitalization, ERP integration, and AI technology development to rapidly build AI agent applications tailored to diverse enterprise scenarios. The solution supports scalability with up to two accelerator cards to handle larger models and workloads, making it ideal for smart factories, logistics, and retail applications.

“Our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and Data Systems not only brings AI technologies into real-world production processes but also demonstrates the practical value of edge AI in solving industry-specific challenges,” said Randy Chien, Chairman of Aetina and Innodisk. “This solution represents more than technical integration—it provides businesses with an affordable, scalable, and deployment-ready pathway to AI transformation.”

“Our collaboration with Aetina and Data Systems brings together cutting-edge AI inference capabilities, robust system integration, and domain expertise to deliver a scalable, security-focused, and high-performance solution that can transform enterprise workflows,” said Nakul Duggal, Group GM, Automotive and Industrial & Embedded IoT, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “Enterprise AI Assistant is a powerful example of how generative AI can drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and unlock new value across industries.”

“This collaboration with Aetina and Qualcomm Technologies marks important milestone for Data Systems in realizing our brand vision of‘Realizing innovation through intelligence,’”said Ian Huang, Vice President of the Manufacturing Business Group at Data Systems Co., Ltd.“We are committed to driving productivity through data and intelligent technologies, truly integrating AI into daily business operations to simplify workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve our vision of work smarter and live better.”

Looking ahead, Aetina, Qualcomm Technologies, and Data Systems plan to expand their collaboration beyond the current Enterprise AI Assistant to a broader range of intelligent agents, such as Equipment AI Assistant. Together, they aim to accelerate intelligent transformation across manufacturing, logistics, and enterprise operations—delivering cross-domain AI workflow solutions that set a new benchmark for industrial innovation.
