Recently, Smart Vision Lights (SVL) was proud to announce the addition of Miguel Sanchez as Regional Sales Representative.

In his new role, Sanchez will support growing demand in several U.S. states, along with Mexico and Central America, for the company’s latest innovations in machine vision lighting.

“Machine vision technology continues to advance to the point where there are so many applications today that were not possible even in recent years, and lighting plays a crucial role in that success,” says Sanchez. “I’m very excited to be part of Smart Vision Lights’ innovative machine vision solutions group and to help our partners, customers, and OEMs find the right lighting solutions to improve processes, advance their capabilities, and ultimately achieve their manufacturing goals while improving the lives of their customers and employees.”

Sanchez joins Smart Vision Lights from CCS America, where he served as Regional Sales & Systems Engineering Specialist for seven years. His industry experience also includes an applications engineer role at Cognex. Sanchez is fluent in English and Spanish and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX).

“Miguel Sanchez has great experience not only in lighting but in the overall machine vision market, and his knowledge of that space will be invaluable to our ongoing commitment to serving the automation lighting market,” says Paul Powers, Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing of Smart Vision Lights. “Miguel is a great addition to the sales team, and we are excited to have him and excited for what 2021 will bring.”
