Endress+Hauser strengthens customer support in Africa and Europe with growing investments

Sustainability is a key issue for Endress+Hauser, and they are making investments in growing markets. Plant optimization, particularly in terms of process efficiency, plays a crucial role here. To provide customers optimal support, Endress+Hauser places high value on excellent on-site management, as well as support during the entire life cycle of the instrumentation. To improve these activities even further, Endress+Hauser has created two new support units.

“Investments in growing markets are of strategic importance for us. Creating new regional support units for the African continent and for our sales units in eastern and central Europe enables us to provide our customers better on-site support. We are convinced these measures will increase the business potential in these regions and contribute to sustainable growth for the company as a whole,” says Thomas Frank, managing director of Endress+Hauser International since 1 January 2024.

Complete support from a single source

Endress+Hauser Africa comprises employees from Endress+Hauser International, Endress+Hauser France and Endress+Hauser South Africa. This close collaboration enables to design uniform business processes and offer customers a central point of contact.

“There is high demand for local services on the African market. The goal of Endress+Hauser Africa is to expand and optimize the sales and service network across the continent. This benefits both local and global customers with projects in Africa,” says Dirk Bogner, who is overseeing the new business unit as head of Endress+Hauser Africa.

Bundled expertise

Endress+Hauser is also reinforcing its presence with a regional support unit for eastern and central Europe located in Zagreb, Croatia. This team will serve the sale centers in Slovenia, Rumania, Croatia and Hungary, in addition to all sales offices and representatives in the region, and support them with centralized core functions. “This support will allow our sales centers, sales offices and sales representatives to fully concentrate on customer support and developing the business with products, solutions and services,” says Jens Fuglsang, corporate sales director at Endress+Hauser.
