On September 15th, Endress+Hauser inaugurated its Design and Innovation Studio, a center equipped with Industry 4.0 technology and STEM-learning opportunities for students K-8 as well as applications for high school students. In partnership with Purdue Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC), the process automation manufacturer welcomed local educators, guidance counselors, and teachers to the grand opening of its new center.

Canadian Electrical Wholesaler has now learned that learned that discussions are progressing regarding the current strike at Nexans copper rod plant in Montreal. Ratification talks were expected Wednesday September 14. Additional updates have not yet been provided. The plant produces copper wire rod and drawn wire for its own manufacturing and is a core supplier of copper rod to many of Canada’s leading wire and cable manufacturers.
